Momento | Slow Tourism

Momento
Momento is a project on slow tourism, which provides for an active involvement of the traveler focusing on the emotional details.
The place of the experience is the Gran Sasso, the highest mountain in the Apennines (IT), in particular on the route that starts from Campo Imperatore and reaches the summit of Corno Grande. The place of the experience is the Gran Sasso, the highest mountain in the Apennines (IT), in particular on the route that starts from Campo Imperatore and reaches the summit of Corno Grande. It can be reached both on foot and by climbing. The aim is to build two structures: one for the trekking route and one for the climbing wall.
Key design principles are: camouflage, new visual cues, sustainability.

Il Covo
The basic structure is designed to be located in a hilly cove. The roof is green and walkable, the windows are mirrored to reflect the sky in the ground.  Inside there is a photographic exhibition on the theme of the evolution of mountaineering in Italy and on the construction of the tunnel. Furthermore, since the walls are concrete, it is possible to leave a trace by engraving the wall.
Il Nido
The structure is designed to be placed on a rock face using steel bars. It wants to be a protected space, for a stop at high altitude contemplating the mountainous landscape.
Identità visiva
The logo is built starting from the shapes that characterize the structures and the mountain. The arch that contains the mountain follows the metaphor of the window to the sky.
Advertising campaign
Posters are placed in the city. If framed with a device, the QR code, allows the activation of a small spot that thanks to images and sounds allows you to have an initial experience of evasion.
